Within my datafeed, I have selected which category I want my products to be categorised (Office Supplies). However, once the feed has been uploaded, the category column within the feed is ignored and therefore many of my products "May need review" (i.e. are not categories correctly). Due to thius fact my account is not live.
What can I do to get all of my products categories correctly (i.e. all with "Categorized Correctly" status)?
I have been having this porblem for over 5 weeks, however contacting you by email is useless, tho I though id try this forum.
In this category, all product categorization is completed by the product name and description.
The "Category” column is not used or prioritized unless we deem it necessary. It was designed to be used on products that cannot be identified by their names, which is highly unusual. Therefore in practice it is used as an auxiliary method of categorization.
The “May need review” banner is simply a measure of our system’s confidence in your product names. The only way to change this indicator would be to rename your products. Also, if a product is labeled “May need review” there is still a 75% chance that it is actually categorized correctly.
In this particular category, an upgrade was recently performed to improve categorization quality. See the “News and Archive” section for more info.
