How do I submit my products to Shopping.com via FTP?
You can upload your data feed using the FTP location.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. This is a secure location at Shopping.com specifically for your feed file.
Follow steps 1-5 to obtain your FTP login and password information. Follow steps 6-14 to upload your file to the FTP location successfully.
- Log into the Merchant Account Center
- Click on the CPC program tab
- Click on "Product Info"
- Click on the "Add or Update Product"link
- Click on the "Shopping.com FTP" link
- Now In a new web browser (preferably Internet Explorer) open this web address ftp://ftp.shopping.com
- Enter the FTP username and password given in the FTP information page (copy & paste)
- Drag and drop your feed file into the FTP location (note the exact feed file name)
- Now go back tothe Merchant Account Center, FTP information screen where your FTP credentials are showing
- Enter the feed file name as it appears in the FTP location (ie: filename.xls, filename.csv, filename.xml)
- Click the “Continue” button
- In this next screen you will map each column of your data feed file (you product is on the left side and you map the column type on the right side)
- Click “Continue”
- You’re done
Your uploaded feed file should be processed within 24 hours if the above steps were done before 8 PM Pacific Time.
